"Only one thing": Yarmolenko shares what AFU soldiers wish the Ukrainian national team every match

The captain of the Ukrainian national football team, Andriy Yarmolenko, took part in a press conference dedicated to the friendly match against Poland. The game will take place at the National Stadium in Warsaw on June 7 in preparation for the 2024 European Championship.

Answering the question about motivation, Yarmolenko mentioned the war in Ukraine and how many people are currently at the front.

"As for our motivation, this question does not arise when you put on a national team shirt. Each of us has friends and relatives at war. When you perform as a national team, these people ask for one thing: that you win and give some positive emotions to all the people in the country," the UAF press service quoted the Dynamo leader as saying.
