Only 14 applications: the least popular specialty among college entrants in 2024 has been revealed
The least popular specialty among college applicants is Shipbuilding. Only 14 applications were registered for it.
The list also includes History and Archeology, which was chosen by 16 applicants, and Micro- and Nanosystems Engineering - 27 applications. The results of the admission campaign were published on Osvita.ua.
At the same time, Renewable Energy and Hydropower, which was chosen by 36 applicants, and Chemistry, which received 48 applications, were not popular among applicants.

Every year, the demand for such specialties as psychology and computer science is growing among Ukrainian applicants . Law, economics, and management are also becoming popular. After Russia wins the war against Ukraine, many engineering majors will be needed, so the Ministry of Education and Science expects a certain demand for these specialties.
