Instead of standing in the kitchen for a long time while wrapping cabbage rolls, you can use a much simpler technique. You don't have to steam whole cabbage for this dish either. All you need to do is chop everything up and shape the finished mass into stewing dishes.

The idea of making juicy lazy cabbage rolls for lunch was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valeria Pytel. To prevent the minced meat from being dry, the rice must be boiled beforehand.

Ingredients:

  • minced meat - 500 g
  • cabbage - 400 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • rice - 90 g + cooking water - 170 ml.
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • salt, pepper, paprika - to taste.
  • tomato paste - 1 pack + water 400 ml.
  • sugar - optional 0.5 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Boil and cool the rice in advance.

2. Dice the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

3. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown, let cool.

4. Chop the cabbage and pour boiling water over it, leave for 10 minutes.

5. Add the rice, roast, cabbage and egg to the minced meat, season with salt and spices, mix everything and form into a cutlet.

6. Put it in the form.

7. For the filling, add water to the paste, add salt, a little sugar and pepper, mix everything and pour over the cabbage rolls.

8. Put in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for about 50-60 minutes.
