New secret version of the inexpensive VW Tiguan shown online: everything is already known about the model

The 2025 Cupra Terramar is another variant based on the inexpensive VW Tiguan crossover. The car is still being kept secret, although everything is already known about this model.

The new Cupra Terramar was shown on the CarSpyMedia channel before the premiere. The Spanish crossover is being tested on the road, and the body is hidden by a camouflage film. However, the body was previously shown in photos without camouflage.

The new model is based on the 3rd generation Volkswagen Tiguan. The 2025 Cupra Terramar crossover is the same size as its technical relative, with a body length of about 4.5 m. Its appearance is much more aggressive than that of the German model.

As for the powertrain, 1.5-liter and 2-liter inline four-cylinder engines are expected, as in the Tiguan, as well as several hybrid modifications with a capacity of 201 and 268 horsepower. Perhaps these variants will be made even more powerful in Spain to match the image of a bright manufacturer.

Until 2018, the Cupra brand was a line of sports models of the Spanish company SEAT, and now it has received a separate brand. The premiere of the new crossover is expected by the end of 2024.
