Nissan's new low-cost SUV was completely declassified before its launch. We expected to see the next Navara pickup truck, but it turned out to be a different model - with a Mitsubishi engine and a Range Rover design.
The practical pickup was shown online. Earlier, it was undergoing road tests. Carscoops reports about the Z9 pickup truck from Nissan and Dongfeng. Obviously, the model was developed in cooperation with a Chinese partner.
Perhaps this is where the Range Rover inspiration comes from, as Chinese brands are usually guilty of. The car is comparable in size to a Ford Ranger.

Nissan and Mitsubishi are working closely together, so the new Z9 pickup truck has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an output of 258 hp. There is also a 190-horsepower diesel engine.
In the future, a powerful hybrid powertrain is expected. The estimated price of the Z9 from Nissan is in the range of 20-30 thousand dollars. It is possible that in the future the SUV will enter the global market as a new 4th generation Navara.
