New low-cost Dodge model may disappoint fans. Photo
The new Dodge Charger for the 2025 model year is a long-awaited low-cost car for fans of the brand. But they may be disappointed with the model's equipment.
The electric Dodge Charger Daytona will go on sale in early 2025. The car received several all-wheel drive variants with 496 and 670 hp. The range is from 418 to 510 km, depending on the version. But, according to Carscoops, special attention is focused on the gasoline Dodge Charger Sixpack and its equipment.
For those who are used to full control of the driving process, the news may not be pleasant. Apparently, the new Dodge Charger will not have a manual transmission. The muscle car will be equipped with an 8-speed ZF 880RE automatic transmission.
Also, the muscle car with an internal combustion engine will not receive a classic V8, but an in-line 6-cylinder engine with a volume of 3 liters in 420 and 550 horsepower versions. The new Dodge Charger 2025 will be available in coupe and sedan bodies.
Earlier, it was reported that the gasoline Dodge Charger Sixpack will appear closer to the end of 2025. However, the car will be launched earlier due to a slowdown in demand for electric vehicles.
The price of the Dodge Charger is currently unknown. It is expected that the basic gasoline muscle car will cost about 35-40 thousand dollars, while the electric car is asked for at least 59,000 dollars.
