More harmful: what car wash products you should be extremely careful with
There are a lot of tips on how to wash your car on social media. However, you should carefully filter the information, because not all "life hacks" can be useful.
Some of them are even potentially dangerous and will do more harm than good. The Express publication told us which car wash products to be especially careful with.
For example, many TikTok users actively shoot videos with "life hacks". They advise using olive (or any other) oil to clean the dashboard. In theory, this may seem like a good idea, but what's the point of using greasy and slippery oil to get rid of dirt? The so-called experts continue to claim that the product will act as a "perfect car polish".
Drivers were also advised to use an old toothbrush when cleaning the car to get into all the hard-to-reach places. The recipe called for mixing powder and water to create a "super paste" to shine the hubcaps.
Another "life hack" that will do more damage is to use shaving foam against glass fogging.
Moreover, corrosion is supposed to be fought with ordinary Coca-Cola. Allegedly, cola poured on rust will help "eat" the corrosion.
