The Mercedes A-Class sedan will disappear from the model lineup forever in the near future. This is one of the most inexpensive cars of the manufacturer, which was decided to be discontinued.

Information about this appeared on the German website MBPassion. However, it has long been known about the company's plans to reorganize the model line. It was decided to focus on the most marginal cars - the compact sedan is not one of them.

The company has relied on the new 3rd generation Mercedes-Benz CLA, which is being prepared for its world premiere. This sedan of similar size has a more prestigious positioning. From a commercial point of view, it is more interesting for the manufacturer.

The new Mercedes CLA 2025 is a long-awaited novelty and a stylish electric sedan. But buyers will also be offered gasoline options.

And in the EV version, the Mercedes CLA will become the most affordable electric car of the brand. Thanks to the use of the modern Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA), the next CLA will be equipped with an all-electric powertrain (270-380 hp) for the first time. In the top modification with a battery pack with a capacity of 85 kWh, a range of 750 km is expected.
