Mazda's new low-cost crossover revealed without camouflage for the first time. Photo
The new 3rd generation Mazda CX-5 crossover will compete with the Toyota RAV4 and other low-cost models in the popular segment. The long-awaited Japanese car was shown without camouflage for the first time before the official premiere.
The 2026 Mazda CX-5 model was recently spotted during road tests. There was a camouflage film on the body, which made it impossible to see the appearance in detail. Motor1 now showed the possible design of the car, a concept that is as close to the production version as possible.
Obviously, the new 3rd generation Mazda CX-5 may look similar. The image was created based on the leaks.
The work on the Mazda CX-5 is underway. The premiere is expected in the second half of 2025. The crossover segment seems to be dimensionless. And Mazda's success in this area has shown that such models can be brought to market almost every year - the compact Mazda CX-30 and CX-50 are in demand.
Several cars were also added to the premium sector, which is new for the company: the Mazda CX-60, CX-70, CX-80 and CX-90 crossovers turned out to be an inexpensive alternative to BMW, Audi and Lexus and were popular with buyers.
