Instead of Renault Duster: new Chery crossover surprised with size and price

The new Jetour X70 Pro from Chery's premium division was shown in a photo. The Chinese crossover turned out to be large, and the price is comparable to the compact budget car Renault Duster.

Details about the new product are reported by CarNewsChina. The car is based on the Jetour X70 and is, in fact, its modernized modification with an updated appearance.

In general, the model is based on the large crossover Chery Tiggo 8. However, the Jetour subsidiary brand, which is also represented in the Ukrainian market, is positioned as a more premium name for a younger audience.

The length of the Jetour X70 Pro is 4749 mm with a wheelbase of 2745 mm, width is 1900 mm, and height is 1720 mm. Such dimensions made it possible to offer a 7-seater cabin. However, the car is available with 5 seats as standard.

The Chinese car is equipped with gasoline engines only. The 1.5-liter unit produces 147 hp, while the 1.6-liter engine offers 190 hp.

Chinese sales of the X70 Pro will start soon. Prices range from $12,500 to $22,500, depending on the version.
