Instead of Renault and Mazda: what inexpensive cars from China are popular in Ukraine

Automakers from China are not widely represented in Ukraine. However, these cars are considered inexpensive compared to the best-sellers - Renault and Mazda - and are quite popular with our buyers.

Official dealers represent only a few Chinese brands. But other models are brought into the country by third-party sellers. More often the assortment is represented by inexpensive electric cars. But used cars are also brought from China.

The list of the most popular Chinese cars in August 2024 has appeared. The statistics is given by the organization Ukravtoprom. Ukrainians bought 1.7 thousand Chinese cars. Demand increased by 61% relative to 2023.

The most popular Chinese cars in Ukraine:

1. BYD Song Plus - 179 pcs;
2. Honda M-NV - 169 pcs;
3. Volkswagen ID.4 - 147 pcs;
4. Zeekr 001 - 107 pcs;
5. Nissan Ariya - 83 pc.

The most popular Chinese used cars in Ukraine:

1. Volkswagen ID.4 - 51 pcs;
2. Chery eQ1 - 34 pcs;
3. Zeekr 001 - 29 pcs;
4. Honda M-NV - 26 pcs;
5. Nissan Ariya - 23 pcs.

As can be seen, not only models of PRC manufacturers are brought to Ukraine from China. But also cars of other companies, which produce their cars in China.
