Inexpensive Toyota SUV at the price of RAV4 is being prepared for the premiere

The new Toyota FJ SUV will be the most affordable model in the Land Cruiser lineup. The latest details are reported by Carsguide. The small Toyota Land Cruiser is expected to hit the market in 2025.
The car will be the successor to the Toyota FJ Cruiser, which was discontinued about 10 years ago. Earlier, it was assumed that the inexpensive SUV would be called Land Hopper (this name was recently patented). But in the end, this name went to an electric scooter.

Insiders report that the new car will have a 2.7-liter gasoline engine with 163 hp and a 222 hp hybrid variant. The price of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is about $30,000 for the base variant, which is comparable to the RAV4.
It is obvious that Toyota wants to turn the Land Cruiser line into an image sub-brand, as Land Rover did with the Range Rover models - it all started with one car, and now there are four in the lineup.
