The new Forester Hybrid is already undergoing road tests
The new inexpensive 6th generation Subaru Forester crossover debuted with a modern design. However, the manufacturer is preparing an even more economical version of the Forester Hybrid with Toyota parts. The car is shown in the photo.
The details became known to Carscoops. The car was spotted during tests on American roads. It is noticeable that the manufacturer has applied a kind of camouflage to the body but they did not try to completely hide the design. In any case, the appearance of the 2024 Subaru Forester model has been declassified - the crossover has already entered the market.
The manufacturer previously announced that European buyers will receive their new Subaru Forester in the fall. The model is already on sale in the United States. The US price of the Subaru Forester 6 starts at $31,090.
The new Subaru Forester Hybrid for the 2025 model year will feature a hybrid system with Toyota components, but the powerplant will be based on Subaru's proprietary horizontally opposed engine.
By itself, the Subaru Forester crossover with this 2.5-liter engine offers 180 hp. Obviously, as part of a hybrid system, the output will increase.
