Inexpensive and very reliable: Germans name the best used cars

German experts have named the most reliable used cars that are currently inexpensive. The information is based on a study of a huge number of real cars.

The results are published on the TÜV Sud website. 10 million cars of all ages were tested. In fact, these are the models that have successfully passed the inspection.

The most reliable used cars of 2023:

• Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan (2-9 years);
• Audi Q2 (2-3 years);
• Audi TT (2-3, 6-7 and 10-13 years);
• Volkswagen T-Roc (4-5 years);
• Volkswagen T-Cross (4-5 years);
• Mazda CX-3 (6-7 years);
• Mercedes B-Class (8-11 years);
• Suzuki SX4 (8-9 years);
• Volkswagen Touareg (10-11 years);
• Volkswagen Golf Plus (12-13 years);
• Toyota RAV4 (12-13 years).

Obviously, German cars are in the lead. This is probably due to the fact that Germans often prefer domestic cars. Also, don't forget that maintenance is taken quite seriously in Germany. This, in particular, helps to keep the vehicle in good condition.
