They help remove and break down stains by trapping dirt. Surfactants are the main cleaning compounds in shaving foam that can help loosen dirt particles in the carpet.

Using foam helps to lift dirt particles out of the carpet, trapping them and making them easier to wipe off. It is recommended that you test the shaving cream on a small area first. This method usually works best on superficial stains on different fabrics.

After applying the shaving cream, gently wipe with a damp cloth or diluted detergent solution, depending on the stain.
