The life hack was shared on her TikTok by a blogger named Megan Anderson, who specializes in makeup tricks and other tips for older women. According to her, a colored eyeliner of the right color made her eyes look even bigger.
To begin with, the blogger applied her usual dark eyeliner to the lower eyelid of one eye. "This has been my standard for years," Anderson said. But she decided to demonstrate the new approach on the other eye.
Megan noticed that she naturally has nut-green eyes. Therefore, a delicate lilac color is complimentary for this color. Therefore, she took an eyeliner pencil of this particular shade and emphasized the lower eyelid with it. Finally, she drew the water line with a nude liner to make the look more open.
Finally, she demonstrated the difference. One eye was painted in the usual way, and the other was highlighted with color. And it was from this side that it looked visually larger and the look fresher.
