Makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes showed a life hack that will help you not to give up applying foundation and at the same time make it almost invisible. She suggested changing the way you apply foundation to make it less dense.
The essence of her technique is not to pick up the foundation directly on the brush, but to first apply it to the palm of your hand and then pick it up with the brush in circular motions. According to Hughes, this helps to reduce the amount of foundation that gets on the skin, ensures a more even distribution, and prevents the appearance of a layer of cosmetics that overloads the look. The result is a much better complexion, no mask effect, and a light glow on the skin.
In addition to this life hack, makeup artists also suggest using BB creams or CC creams instead of the usual foundation. They provide lighter coverage and a more natural look. You can also apply a drop of concealer to blemishes or redness and then cover it with a layer of translucent powder for a fresh look.
