How to draw perfectly symmetrical eyebrows: the ingenious way

Eyebrows are an important accent that can effectively emphasize natural beauty. Today, the trend is for thick and expressive eyebrows, so many people highlight them with cosmetics: eye shadows, pencils, and gel.

A technique called "eyebrow mapping" is gaining popularity online. The process is somewhat complicated but useful for those who want to achieve the effect of perfect symmetrical eyebrows.

Fashion is a fickle thing. Until the 2010s, thin threaded eyebrows were in trend, so you've probably fallen victim to tweezers that reduced the natural density and thickness of your eyebrows.

In this technique, makeup artists use a brow shaping technique that involves defining landmarks to "map out" where the eyebrows should start and end, as well as where the arches should go.

1. Putting the pencil to the outer corner of your nose, mark the inner bottom corner of the eyebrow on each side – this is the beginning of your eyebrows.
2. Next, align the pencil at an angle from the corner of your nose to the end of your eyebrow and mark the location.
3. To outline the arches, hold the pencil at an angle from the outer corner of the nose to the outside of the iris. The place where the tip of the pencil touches should be the highest point of the arch.
4. After the beginning, arch, and end of each eyebrow are marked with a pencil, you should outline the lower part of the eyebrow, connecting the first point with the tip.
5. Next, you should carefully draw the eyebrows – it will allow you to fill them in better.

The "mapping" technique allows you to fill in the eyebrows evenly, and not just follow the natural growth line, which is not always symmetrical.
