How to determine a person's height with an iPhone: an interesting way

Elena BylimNews

The latest iPhone updates have brought an interesting opportunity for users to measure a person's height using the "Measure" app. This innovation allows you to instantly get accurate measurement results right on your smartphone screen.

The technology uses the iPhone's camera and a special algorithm to accurately determine height, even if a person is sitting or wearing a hat, according to the iPhone User Guide.

To use this feature, you need to open the "Measure" app, which is located in the "Utilities" folder. Then you need to position the iPhone so that the person is completely in the frame – from head to toe. The object must be clearly visible so that the program can correctly determine the size.

After the iPhone captures the person, a vertical line will appear on the screen near the top of the head, hair, or headdress, and the measurement result will be shown below it. In addition, a snapshot button appears at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to save the measurement results.

To save the photo with the measurement, you can simply tap the screenshot that appears in the lower left corner, then select "Done" and choose the option to save to "Photos" or "Files." The image can be easily found and shared at any time through these apps.

If you need to take a new measurement, just turn the iPhone in the other direction for a few seconds to reset the previous data and repeat the process. This makes it possible to get a new result quickly and conveniently.

This feature will be useful for those who want to quickly measure height, for example, for medical purposes or just out of curiosity. The program interface is simple, and the measurement process itself takes only a few seconds, which makes this tool useful for everyday use.
