Houses were damaged by debris fall: new details of Russian missile attack on Kyiv region
On Friday, December 8, the terrorist country of the Russian Federation attacked the Kyiv region using Tu-95MS strategic bombers. Air defense forces were actively working in the region. However, as a result of the debris fall of the downed missiles, several citizens' private homes were damaged.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko, the Kyiv RMA press service said. Citizens were urged not to ignore the warning messages.
"This morning, the enemy once again insidiously attacked our region. This time with missiles. The air alert lasted more than 1.5 hours. Air defense forces were actively working in the region. No hits to critical or residential infrastructure were recorded. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. As of 8:45 a.m., there is information about damage to private houses in several communities in the region as a result of the falling debris of downed enemy targets," Kravchenko said.
The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration clarified that windows were smashed in the houses and there was partial destruction of walls. Emergency services are already working. Operational services continue to work to eliminate the consequences of the morning attack. People will be provided with all necessary assistance.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the morning of Friday, December 8, an air alert was declared in most regions of Ukraine due to the missile threat from the Russian Federation. For the first time in almost 80 days, the enemy used Tu-95MS strategic bombers to launch cruise missiles.
