The new Subaru Forester for the 2025 model year has already joined the low-cost SUV segment and entered the market. The next step is a hybrid. If everything goes well and buyers like the car, the crossover will cause a real stir on the market as hybrids are becoming increasingly popular.

The details are reported by Motor1. The Subaru Forester Hybrid crossover will appear by mid-2025. Its design is based on a 2.5-liter internal combustion engine and an electric motor with a Toyota battery. This will be the first Subaru hybrid since 2023.

Earlier, the 6th generation Subaru Forester hybrid was spotted during road tests in the US. Although there was a camouflage film all around the body, the company did not try to completely hide the design. In any case, the model's appearance is declassified.

The Subaru Forester crossover with a 2.5-liter engine offers 180 hp. Obviously, the output will increase in the hybrid version.

The manufacturer previously announced that European customers have begun receiving their new Subaru Forester after the US market. The price of the Subaru Forester 6 starts at $31,000.
