The popular action movie actor Tom Hardy is breaking into Netflix. Soon, the platform will release the movie "Havoc" starring him.
A teaser of the upcoming movie has already appeared on the streaming service's social media. The premiere date of "Havoc" is scheduled for April 25. The movie will be released exclusively on Netflix.
The action movie will tell the story of Walker (Hardy), a disillusioned detective who takes up the fight against a criminal group that threatens to take over his city. After foiling a major drug deal, Walker discovers that he is being pursued by several criminal gangs at once. And the most terrifying of them all is a vengeful syndicate headed by a corrupt politician. In an attempt to save the politician's son, whose involvement in a drug deal begins to unravel a complex web of corruption and conspiracy, Walker will be forced to face the demons of his past.
The film also stars Forest Whitaker, Timothy Olyphant, Michelle Waterson and others. The film was written and directed by Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gangs of London). He also produced "Havoc" together with Hardy, Ed Talfan and Aram Tertsakian.
