On September 12, Kyiv hosted the largest IT conference - IT Ukraine GR Conference 2024 - organized by the IT Ukraine Association. Ukrainian tech company FAVBET Tech was its partner, and its CEO, Artem Skrypnyk, moderated a panel discussion on "The Era of AI and Other Innovations: The Impact of Technology on Intellectual Property Regulation."

IT Ukraine GR Conference brought together representatives of the state, business, lawyers, financiers, HR specialists and other experts to discuss topical issues of IT law and Government Relations. During the event, the participants discussed five key areas: Ukraine's integration into the EU's Digital Single Market, digital transformation, the era of artificial intelligence, taxation for IT business, and investments and M&A in the IT sector.

A panel discussion moderated by Artem Skrypnyk focused on the challenges of intellectual property protection in the context of rapid technological development. The main topics of discussion included:

  • The impact of artificial intelligence on copyright and patent law, issues of intellectual property regulation.
  • Protection of data with the help of intellectual property tools.
  • New approaches to intellectual property regulation in the digital age.
