Explosions in Odesa: occupants attacked the city with ballistics

On Friday, August 2, explosions occurred in Odesa during an air raid alert. The terrorist army of the Russian Federation sent ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea to the city.

Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov called on Telegram to stay in safe places. The Mykolaiv Vanek Telegram channel warned of ballistic missiles aimed at the regional center.

As a reminder, on August 2, the occupiers hit a bus with people in the Dergachiv community in Kharkiv region with a drone: people were injured, all of them construction workers, and one of the wounded is in serious condition. Another drone was spotted near a residential building in Kupiansk, with a victim and an injured person. In total, seven people were wounded as a result of the enemy attack.

Also on this day, the occupants shelled Kherson. People on the street came under attack from a drone: a man was killed and a woman was injured.

– On August 1, Russians attacked the Mykolaiv region with attack drones. The occupiers hit a kindergarten.

– Forbes estimated that in July 2024, the Ukrainian Defense Forces outperformed Russia in terms of the number and quality of strikes by long-range UAVs. The Russian Federation attacked our territory with 426 Shahed-type kamikaze drones, while Ukraine struck with more than 520 long-range drones.
