AutoTrader demonstrates the car in detail. The Nissan Sakura has already sold 64,000 copies since its launch in 2022. Electric cars are not very popular in Japan, but the Nissan Sakura really won over buyers. The model currently occupies about 40% of the Japanese EV market.
It turned out that despite its unusual design and construction, as well as its compact size, the electric Nissan Sakura offers a comfortable, practical interior. There is plenty of space in the cabin, especially in the second row of seats and overhead.

The quality of the trim was a pleasant surprise. The materials are simple but well processed and stylish. The car offers smoot drive, accelerating quickly. So far, Nissan has not said anything about plans to export Sakura to other countries. Even despite the positive reviews, from a technical point of view, this model does not meet safety requirements - neither European nor American.
If the manufacturer decides to adapt the model, it will become much more expensive. Currently, in Japan, the price of Nissan Sakura is about $16,000.
