Didn't dare: Real Madrid coach makes new decision on Ukraine goalkeeper
Ukraine's goalkeeper Andriy Lunin will not get a stable place in the Real Madrid first team despite his successful performance in recent matches. The head coach of the "royal club" Carlo Ancelotti still did not dare to fully put Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was loaned from Chelsea after Thibaut Courtois' injury, on the bench.
This is reported by the portal Defensa Central. The Italian specialist settled on rotating in goal and giving minutes to both goalkeepers. Interestingly, this puts an end to Lunin's chances of winning the Spanish league's best goalkeeper award, as he will not have the minimum required number of matches.
It is not known how the playing time will be distributed between Lunin and Arrizabalaga. Before that, they took turns playing in the national championship and the Champions League. By the way, in the European tournament, the Ukrainian scored a penalty in the match against Braga.
Earlier, the media reported that Real Madrid would not buy Kepa's contract from Chelsea. It is also known that two English Premier League clubs are interested in the Ukrainian goalkeeper.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, the son of the legendary Andriy Shevchenko, Christian, successfully played his first match for the English club Watford.
