Demand for second-hand cars increases in Ukraine as motorists rush to spend money on cheap models

The latest statistics on used car sales in Ukraine for August 2024 show a steady turn of buyers towards the cheapest cars. Ukrainians prefer to spend money on the second-hand ones.

These cars are the cheapest on the market. According to Ukravtoprom, the Volkswagen Golf once again topped the used car market in August, with Ukrainians registering more than a thousand of these German cars per month.

The most popular used cars in Ukraine (August 2024):

1. Volkswagen Golf - 1325 units;
2. Renault Megane - 1037 units;
3. Skoda Octavia - 959 units;
4. Volkswagen Passat - 738 units;
5. Volkswagen Tiguan - 685 units;
6. Audi Q5 - 671 units;
7. Nissan Leaf - 658 units;
8. Tesla Model Y - 588 units;
9. Nissan Rogue - 581 units;
10. Tesla Model 3 - 561 units.

In total, Ukrainian motorists registered 25.7 thousand used cars in August 2024. This number is 22% higher than last year's result and 29% higher than in July 2024.
