The used car market is a treacherous place. There are many crossovers on sale that attract with their price. However, some of them are a dangerous purchase. Such as these premium models that experts don't recommend buying.

Even though premium crossovers lose value quickly on the secondary market and thus may attract a thrifty and vapid buyer, it pays to keep an open mind. What Car has compiled a list of premium crossovers with mileage that are best not to look at.

The experts studied the segment of relevant cars aged from 6 to 20 years and identified the worst representatives in terms of reliability. The rating of each model was expressed in percentages.

Audi Q7

Worst used crossovers in the premium segment:

  1. Land Rover Discovery (2004 to 2017) - 47.8%;
  2. Audi Q7 (from 2006 to 2015) - 67.6%;
  3. Land Rover Range Rover (from 2013 to 2022) - 70.8%.

The luxury Range Rover, according to experts, frustrates its owners with engine, brake, suspension and exhaust system problems.

The Audi Q7 has frequent reliability complaints. Especially it concerns motors and suspension parts. And among Land Rover Discovery (2007-2017), about half of the cars fail with breakdowns of the fuel system, engines and suspension.
