Collaborator mayor of Kupiansk Matsehora dies in Russia after assassination attempt

Traitor Hennadiy Matssehora, who was the mayor of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region at the time of the occupation and was one of the first to volunteer to work for the occupiers, has died. Shortly before the liberation of the city, he fled to Russia and surrounded himself with heavy security, but this did not help the traitor: On June 7, unknown persons attempted to assassinate him.

Russian doctors fought for the collaborator's life for several days, but in vain. The network reported that he died on June 10 in a medical facility. A day later, this was confirmed by popular propaganda Telegram channels of the aggressor country, citing a message from the traitor's mother.

Thus, a screenshot of a post on the VK social network, which is blocked in Ukraine, was posted by a user named Lyudmyla Matsegora. Obviously, this is the mother of the liquidated traitor.

"Gennady is gone... A beloved husband, son and father... Gena lived all his life for people, rarely thought about himself... I don't know how to live with this, my heart is bleeding," reads the message, allegedly written by Lyudmila Matsyegora.

As a reminder, the attempted assassination of the Russian accomplice was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. At the time, the agency claimed that he was hospitalized in an extremely serious condition.

The military intelligence informed about the attempted assassination of Matseha, who was shot at by unknown persons near his home in Staryi Oskol, on June 8, the day after the attempt.

"Matsehora voluntarily cooperated fully with the Russian invaders. In particular, in June 2022, he signed the so-called protocol on the creation of the occupation Kharkiv administration and publicly announced it... Currently, Moscow doctors have been trying to prevent Matsehora from attending Kobzon's concert for two days in a row. The condition of the traitor to the Ukrainian people is critical," the intelligence noted at the time.
