Chevrolet's new affordable crossover has a problem: cars are being recalled

The problems are related to the lower arm of the front right suspension. General Motors has identified the batch 12312261 that is stamped on the part as defective. These parts are to be replaced.

It is reported that the problem affects 83 vehicles of the Chevrolet Equinox EV model. The culprit is the supplier of components - the parts were made of low-quality metal. Apparently, the manufacturer failed to control logistics, and the defective parts got to the Chevrolet assembly line.

Electric cars affected by the recall campaign will undergo free replacement of the necessary part. Otherwise, the lever may break - during the movement of the vehicle it will lead to unpleasant consequences.
