Chevrolet plans to modernize its popular low-cost electric model
The Chevrolet Bolt is a fairly popular model on the secondary market. This inexpensive electric car will soon undergo a large-scale modernization. Many people are interested to know what the new car will look like.
The 3rd generation Chevrolet Bolt electric model will be available in 2025. Earlier, it was reported that the manufacturer would offer only the Bolt EUV crossover. However, recently it became known that the lineup will be represented by several cars. The TALK WHEELS channel showed a possible design of one of them.
The next-generation affordable Chevrolet electric vehicle will be produced at the American plant in Kansas City after the plant is modernized too. The car will be equipped with a lithium-iron-phosphate battery (LFP). This will speed up the development of the car. For the same reason, it will be possible to reduce the cost of the battery, as well as the entire electric car.
Initially, GM planned to abandon the development of the next generation model, but the growing demand for Bolt showed that the market needs a new car. The projected price is less than $30,000.
Buyers will also get an even cheaper Chevrolet Bolt in the future, but the price of it has not yet been announced.
