Cheap Toyota SUV turned into an affordable camper
The new Toyota Tamaraw, also known as the Toyota Hilux Champ, is the Japanese company's cheapest SUV. The budget car was made in the style of the classic Land Cruiser, and now it has been turned into a motorhome.
Details are reported by Carscoops. Thai company Carryboy showed a camper based on the Toyota Hilux Champ. The cabin can accommodate up to six people, has a bathroom, a dining area, and a 32-inch TV.
Depending on the buyer's preferences, the final price of a fully equipped motorhome can reach $70,000. It's not cheap for this segment.
The Toyota Tamaraw SUV is named after the Philippine tamaraw buffalo. Future owners will be able to buy the car in almost any form thanks to the wide range of customization options.
The configurations include not only a motorhome but also a sports pickup truck and many types of light commercial vehicles. There are also vehicles for special services with professional equipment.
