A new electric pickup truck from China, the Geely Radar GD6, has entered production. The vehicle has gone on sale on the global market. The main advantage is its low price.
According to InsideEVs, Radar Auto has started production of a budget electric pickup truck. The model is being launched on the global market. This car is known to domestic Chinese buyers as the Radar RD6 without the Geely brand name. The electric car costs from $25,000.
The length of the car is 5260 mm (wheelbase is 3120 mm), the width is 1900 mm, and the height is 1830 mm. There is no information about the carrying capacity.
The new Geely Radar GD6 is equipped with a choice of 268 and 406 hp electric powertrains. It also has several battery packs: 63 kWh (400 km range), 86 kWh (550 km), and 100 kWh (632 km).
The pickup is capable of charging electrical appliances, various equipment, or even other electric vehicles. Although in this case, it will not be possible to give too much energy, because the batteries are not so large. And the official Chinese power reserve will actually be about 1.5 times less.
