Budget crossover Duster 3rd generation found a serious problem
The long-awaited budget crossover Dacia Duster 3rd generation from Renault has shown poor results in Euro NCAP crash tests. This is a problem for those who want to buy a modern safe car.
The car was tested in the Euro NCAP tests. The 2024 Dacia Duster received a rating of 3 stars. The safety of adult passengers was rated at 70%, children - 84%. Pedestrians - 60%, and the work of electronic assistants was evaluated at 57%.
The result is very mediocre. But frankly speaking, cars of the budget segment have never been characterized by the maximum level of safety. This is a compromise, in exchange for which buyers get savings when buying.
