"Black Warrant": a series about India's most terrifying prison is now available on Netflix

Recently, a new seven-episode project "Black Warrant" has appeared on the Netflix platform. This is an Indian series that tells the story of one of the country's most terrifying prisons.

The brutal scenes and violence made the show restricted to users under 16. OBOZ.UA will tell you what we know about the drama series, whose trailer was watched by 17 million viewers in 9 days.

The story tells about an officer who, despite his mother's warnings, agrees to work as a warden in Tihar prison. It has the highest level of security in India and is one of the largest in Asia. This place is surrounded by cruel rumors about the treatment of prisoners.

However, the protagonist believes that the problems are not as global as they are said to be. He goes on duty and, to his horror, learns about the atrocities inside. When he sees how deeply corruption is rooted in the prison, he vows to change the situation.

Currently, the film is only available in the original language, English, Polish, Tamil and Telugu. However, Ukrainian subtitles are already available.
