Audi teases A6 e-tron ahead of upcoming presentation

The German automaker Audi is preparing to present an updated A6 e-tron model, which will now be equipped with an electric motor. On the eve of the official presentation scheduled for today, July 31, the automaker decided to show real photos of the sedan and wagon.

The pictures were published on Audi's social media. However, you still can't see many details in the pictures. The photos were taken at dusk so that only the outlines of the new A6 for the 2025 model year could be seen against the barely lit sky.

What we can say for sure is that the designers have tried to preserve the elegance of the shapes inherent in Audi models. The photo also shows matrix headlights and thin LED lights.

Although the manufacturer keeps the official information about the new model a secret, some have already managed to take several shots of the test models. From their pictures, it can be assumed that the new electric vehicles will have separate headlamp units and fully enclosed grilles. Instead of side mirrors, the A6 will have cameras, and the door handles will be recessed.

It has also already been reported that the 2025 A6 e-tron will be built on the PPE platform, just like the Q6 e-tron. This suggests that the electric vehicle will receive a battery with a capacity of about 100 kWh. Analysts also expect that there will be several powertrain options on sale. Thus, they predict the launch of a rear-wheel drive version with a capacity of 302 hp and a range of up to 641 km. An all-wheel drive modification with two engines with a total capacity of 382 hp and a range of up to 625 km is also possible.
