A new inexpensive Mazda crossover is being prepared for the premiere in the electric segment. The Toyota RAV4-sized car will have a striking design and modern equipment. The company has previously shown a harbinger of this model.
The details are reported by L'Argus. It became known that the electric crossover will be declassified by the end of 2025. The car will be an all-electric alternative to the Mazda CX-5.
It is expected to look like the 2024 Mazda Arata concept. The technical part was borrowed from the new Mazda 6e electric car, which was developed in China. The new product, which may be called Mazda EZ-60, will also be sold on the global market, but the car will be cheaper in China.

The automaker has already announced the 3rd generation Mazda CX-5. The crossover segment seems to be dimensionless. And Mazda's success in this area has shown that such models can be brought to market almost endlessly. The compact Mazda CX-30 and CX-50 models are in demand.
Earlier, several cars were added to the premium sector, which is new for the company: the Mazda CX-60, CX-70, CX-80, and CX-90 crossovers proved to be an inexpensive alternative to BMW, Audi, and Lexus and were popular with buyers.
