The new Honda Prelude is being prepared for the premiere after a 20-year wait for fans. The car will become a rival to Nissan and Toyota in the segment of inexpensive sports coupes. It became known that the car will be able to surprise buyers.
The details are reported by Motor1. The elegant Honda Prelude sports coupe will look like a concept that heralded the emergence of a production model. It is expected that in 2025 the novelty will go to the assembly line almost unchanged.
From a technical point of view, the model will use familiar solutions, but will use only the best components from the manufacturer. Thus, the front suspension will feature parts of the Civic Type R sports hatchback. The coupe will also receive an economical powertrain from the Honda Accord and Civic hybrid models with a capacity of more than 200 hp.
