Sales of electric cars continue to grow in Ukraine. Motorists thus save money (models from China are very cheap) and refuse gasoline, because there is no need to spend money at the gas station. A list of favorite cars has appeared.
Fresh statistics is given by the organization Ukravtoprom. In August 2024 Ukrainians bought 6445 electric cars. This is 68% more than last year's results and 34% more than in July 2024.
The most popular electric cars in Ukraine (August 2024):
- BYD Song Plus - 174 pcs;
- Honda M-NV - 169 pcs;
- Volkswagen ID.4 - 147 pcs;
- Zeekr 001 - 107 pc;
- Nissan Ariya - 83 pcs.
Out of the total, only 1,159 cars turned out to be new electric cars. The rest were used cars. There were 143 commercial vehicles with electric traction.
The most popular used electric cars in Ukraine (August 2024):
- Nissan Leaf - 658 pcs;
- Tesla Model Y - 588 pcs;
- Tesla Model 3 - 561 units;
- Hyundai Kona - 308 units;
- Volkswagen e-Golf - 289 pcs.
