A serious problem has been discovered in the Volkswagen model, which is loved by Ukrainians
The inexpensive Volkswagen ID.4 is very popular with customers and is a favorite model of Ukrainians in its segment. However, a serious problem has been found in the electric car.
The manufacturer found out that water can get into the electronic door locks and cause them to malfunction. The details became known to Motor1. Due to this problem, the doors can open at any time.
According to the data, some cars may have problems with water getting into the handles and reaching the circuit board inside. Despite the fact that the VW ID.4 door handles look traditional, they are really electric. The design turned out to be vulnerable to moisture.
Dealers will fix the problems with the Volkswagen ID.4.

The manufacturer is not aware of any accidents or injuries caused by this problem. However, there are 135 warranty claims related to this problem.
Interestingly, the recall campaign applies to all VW ID.4s manufactured in the United States. This is approximately 120,000 cars.
