GM's new Wuling Sunshine EV 2025 has been officially unveiled. The cheap model for family and business pleases with its practicality and costs like a used Skoda Octavia.

Carscoops learned about the car. The two companies (SAIC and General Motors) have long been cooperating and developing budget models in China. The cheap Wuling Sunshine EV minivan is another result of their collaboration.

The design is quite calm. This is unusual to see today, when even budget family models are trying to make them look aggressive and "sporty". And the cheapness of the model could not be hidden.

With a body length of 3685 mm (wheelbase is 2600 mm), a width of 1530 mm and a height of 1750 mm, the car offers a practical interior with 5 seats. The trunk is 527 liters, and if you fold the second-row seats, the volume increases to 1117 liters.

Buyers will be able to purchase an all-electric version with a 40 hp motor and a 17 kWh battery pack. The price of the Wuling Hongguang starts at $6900. A variant with a larger battery will appear later.
