The new inexpensive Volkswagen ID.Unyx crossover for the 2025 model year has recently been officially unveiled and put into production, but this car has already appeared in Ukraine. This is a long-awaited powerful electric car.

It is interesting that the VW ID.4 model, which is used as the basis, was turned into a car of another brand – Cupra. And now the process has been reversed. This is how the new Volkswagen ID.Unyx was born, which topcars_ua shows on Instagram.

Previously, it was assumed that Volkswagen was preparing a new subsidiary brand for this model. It was reported that the new name was intended for young modern buyers. But it turned out differently, the crossover joined the electric ID line. However, technically and visually, it is the Cupra Tavascan, which was once built based on the Volkswagen ID.4.

The new VW ID.Unyx looks modern, impressive, and unusual. Narrow headlights, many folds and sharp edges on the body, and a dynamic silhouette. The novelty differs from the Tavascan in the front bumper and rear light graphics.

The car was created specifically for the Chinese market. The lineup includes versions with 231 and 340 hp, and the range is in the range of 500-600 km. The price of Volkswagen ID.Unyx starts from $26,000 in China.
