Zaluzhnyi and General Milley discussed the upcoming counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the situation at the front

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi held telephone talks with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley. During the conversation, the issue of supplying weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was raised.

Zaluzhnyi reported this on his Telegram channel. Particular attention was paid to the supply of air defence systems for Ukraine.

"I had meaningful phone conversations with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. He told me about the situation on the frontline. The situation is difficult, but under control," wrote the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to Zaluzhnyi, the main issue of the talks was the supply of weapons and ammunition for Ukrainian soldiers. Particular attention was paid to air defence systems that would help reduce the negative effects of enemy shelling.

"We discussed the future steps of the Armed Forces to de-occupy the territory of our country. We agreed to continue to actively cooperate. I am grateful to General Milley for his consistent support of our country," Zaluzhnyi added.
