Blackberry will grow large and tasty

Blueberries are not only tasty but also very healthy for the body. They contain vitamins A, B, E, C, K, PP, and a lot of magnesium, iron, calcium, phosphorus, fiber, antioxidants, and amino acids. Blueberries boost immunity, prevent atherosclerosis and hypertension, strengthen capillaries, improve metabolism, and lower cholesterol and sugar levels.

Blueberries are usually not cheap, but it is quite easy to grow them at home in the garden. Read the OBOZREVATEL article to learn how to do it correctly.

Rules for planting blueberries

Before planting blueberries, it is recommended to soak their roots in warm water and keep them for at least 15 minutes. Then you should spread them well.

According to experts, it is better to plant blueberry seedlings in holes 40-60 cm deep. It would be ideal to put sawdust on the bottom of the holes. To ensure that the berries are produced abundantly, citric acid is added to the soil.

The root neck of the blueberry should be buried 5 cm deeper into the hole and covered with soil.

How to water blueberries

Blueberries need a lot of water, so you shouldn't neglect watering them regularly. After planting blueberries, you should water them once every three days for several weeks, pouring 5-7 buckets of water. When the bush is well-rooted, it is advised to reduce watering to once a week.

It is recommended to mulch the trunk with pine bark or sawdust.

By the way, when arranging the beds, you should not forget about the rules of the neighborhood. Some vegetables should not be planted next to each other - they will "take" nutrients from the soil and have common diseases.
