What to do with plants every week to help them survive the winter: expert reveals the secret
What to do with plants on a weekly basis

Indoor plants need regular care, especially during the cold season. It is necessary to create favorable conditions for the flowers to survive temperature fluctuations and lack of sunlight.

The Express publication has published tips from a gardening expert to help with this. According to him, dust is one of the biggest factors affecting plant growth and development.

The accumulation of dust and dirt in the house, and especially on indoor flowers, can provoke allergies and affect the breathing of owners and pets.

When the leaves of a plant are covered with a layer of dust, they cannot receive enough light, which is necessary for the process of photosynthesis. Accordingly, this affects the release of oxygen and the air in the room will be "heavy" and polluted. This can even lead to the death of the plant.

To avoid this, you need to wipe the leaves of indoor flowers with a damp microfiber cloth every week. If dust appears faster, repeat this procedure as needed. Carefully support the leaf from below so as not to damage the flowerpot.

If the plant has small leaves, use a brush because a rag may be too heavy for this.

Indoor flowers that are used to tropical and humid climates should be sprayed with warm water using a spray bottle. This will improve the condition of the plant.

Such a simple method will not only promote the development and growth of the flowerpot, but also help to avoid the appearance of pests and diseases.
