The Russian government is terrified by the "sudden" decline in the working-age population aged 30-39. They predict that the number of people of this age may decrease by another third soon.
On September 21, the Deputy Prime Minister of the aggressor country, Tatyana Golikova, commented on the situation. According to her, Russian officials are frightened by the latest demographic figures.
"We are afraid of this instability that we will have shortly due to demographics in the 30-39 age group. This is the most sought-after staff, they are the ones who are ready for change and for accepting new things. They are also highly qualified. But <...> their number will decrease by 30% shortly," Russian media quoted Golikova as saying.
At the same time, the official expressed hope that "the number of young and older people is growing."
