US intelligence confirms Prigozhin's death

US intelligence has confirmed that the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, died in a plane crash. It is believed that this happened as a result of a bomb explosion on board the aircraft.
The Wall Street Journal writes about it. According to the newspaper, the plane carrying the Wagner PMC curator was not shot down by a surface-to-air missile.
The version that the plane was allegedly shot down by a surface-to-air missile was called untenable by US intelligence.
At the same time, the intelligence services tend to consider the incident in the skies over the Tver region to be a deliberate sabotage.
By the way, ISW believes that Putin almost certainly ordered the military command, represented by the Ministry of Defence, to shoot down a plane belonging to Yevgeny Prigozhin's Wagner PMC. The plane crashed in the Tver region of Russia on 23 August, and Russian media have already confirmed the deaths of the leader and deputy of the private military company in the crash.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the Russian dictator officially confirmed the death of the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin. The Kremlin leader called him a talented businessman and a man of "difficult fate".
