Unable to hold back tears: son calls his mother for the first time since returning from Russian captivity Video.

A Ukrainian soldier called his mother as soon as he set foot on Ukrainian soil after a long time in captivity. He couldn't hold back his tears when he heard the voice of his loved one.
The touching video was shared by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, on Telegram. During the soldier's absence, a baby girl was born to him.
"The first emotions. The first tears. The first conversations with family," the ombudsman wrote.
Immediately after the soldier was returned to Ukraine, he asked to call his mother.
"Mum, hello... I'm in Ukraine," our defender managed to say and could not hold back his tears.
From the phone, he could hear his mother's surprise and joy.
As it turned out, during the time the soldier was in captivity, he gave birth to a daughter.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Ukraine returned 100 of its defenders home on April 10 as part of a new large-scale prisoner exchange. Soldiers, sailors, border guards and national guardsmen who defended Mariupol and Gostomel, among others, were released from captivity.
