The new Kia EV5 electric crossover for the 2024 model year has been fully declassified in photos with all the specs. The affordable car will go up against Tesla and VW.

The premiere of the model has not yet taken place. Kia EV5 electric car will be officially presented on August 25 at the Chengdu Motor Show, reports CarNewsChina. The novelty is slightly larger than the Sportage crossover.

The length is 4615 mm (wheelbase is 2750 mm), width is 1875 mm and height is 1715 mm. The weight of 1870 kg is not critical for an electric car, especially taking into account the large battery pack with a capacity of 77 kWh, which will provide 600 km of range.

That's more than claimed for its main rivals, the Volkswagen ID.4 and Tesla Model Y crossovers. The EV5's design is also more spectacular than its rivals. The lines are sharp, combined with surfaces at different angles and elongated lighting technology. The new electric car looks good even white.

The new Kia electric crossover will go with the rear-wheel drive version with a single 218 hp motor on the market in November. The top speed is 185 km/h. It is unknown whether the car will have a four-wheel drive dual-motor version. The approximate price should be less than 30,000 dollars.
