The new BYD Song L Chinese electric crossover was shown in the photo. The car will compete with the Tesla Model Y, although it can be called budget in comparison with the American car.
The new Chinese electric car has been shown on CarNewsChina. This is a fairly large crossover, which looks spectacular. But there are nuances as well.
The design is as secondary as other Chinese cars. At least the electric crossover doesn't look directly like the Tesla Model Y that it's going to compete with. However, some design items look like Kia's EV6. There's even something of the Koenigsegg Gemera.
The Song L is 4,840 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm, 1,950 mm wide and 1,560 mm tall. Such a large body with a long wheelbase should get a spacious interior, but it is not shown yet.
The characteristics are also unknown. The starting price of BYD Song L will be 27 600 dollars.
